The Winterhalter UC Glasswasher series offers a highly configurable digital machine that can tailor each wash to your specific requirements. Several technical innovations have enabled the Winterhalter UC series to achieve glass washing results of a quality never seen before, a claim confirmed by independent testing institutes.
The new elliptical upper and lower wash fields ensure full coverage glass washing. Floating particles, such as fruit flesh and coffee grounds, are efficiently eliminated by the fourfold wash water filtration system with turbidity sensor so that the wash water stays permanently clean.
Depending on glasses that require washing, operators can easily select between three standard wash programmes using the intuitive touch-screen interface and self-explanatory symbols. Special programmes are available for descaling and starch removal. For each programme, the UC series varies wash settings including water pressure, time, detergent and temperature.
By varying power on each wash cycle the machine can protect wine glasses and champagne flutes that fall over easily. This way, fine wine glasses get just as clean at a low water pressure as robust beer mugs do at high water pressures. This ensures less glass abrasion and long lasting decorations.
Throughout operation the display keeps operators informed of cycle progress to completion, wash temperatures and hygiene data. Animated operating instructions and washing tips are also available to enable staff to familiarise themselves quickly without training.
Each Winterhalter UC glass washer provides fully automatic operation thanks to a built-in rinse aid pump, detergent pump and drain pump, all included as standard. A Built-in break tank achieves full WRAS approval of the machine and guarantees compliance with UK water board regulations for high-risk areas.
Automatic maintenance reminders enhance service life. Visual and acoustic signals draw operator attention to quickly identify problems, such as wash items blocking wash fields or lack of detergent. Data is automatically captured by the machine relating to chemical supplies, service history and operation and can quickly be retrieved to identify operator habits, consumption, hygiene results and malfunctions.
Supplied with waste and water hoses for UK fitting. An optional water softener should be installed in hard water areas to prevent limescale build up that could be harmful to wash results and machine longevity.
As standard, the machine comes configured for connection UK 20 Amp power connections, but can be customised to connect to 13amp, 30amp or 3-phase upon request.
Winterhalter Energy systems are also available as an optional extra. This includes circulating air heat exchanger so that hot water vapour is extracted from the exterior of the machine and used to heat up the cold water inlet, significantly reducing energy consumption and improving atmosphere.
